I'm totally late with this but HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY and HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!!!!! (I totally meant to post this on Valentine's Day. Oops.)

It's been hectic with all the celebrations plus my bf & parents are sick. But they're getting better and so we all wish you and your loved ones a year of prosperity, happiness, and good health (double emphasis on the health!!).

I'm working this past week's summary and hope to get it out within the next few days. As usual, please let me know if there are any mistakes.

HEADLINES

Nishikido Ryo is rumoured to star in a manga adaptation. Yay!
Ohno Satoshi has a new drama! Yay!
Look! Some NEWS! Okay, bad pun. But NEWS will be releasing their first single of the year , with the title Sakura Girl.
'Tis the season of dramas! Kusanagi Tsuyoshi will star in a drama special with Nakama Yukie for TBS' 60th Anniversary.
And look! More dramas! Kato Shigeaki will have the leading role in a drama called Trouble Man. Sounds like trouble! I kid.
A refreshing break from drama news, TegoMass announces their second concert tour.
Wheeee! New Kanjani8 show in April.

Totally belated, I know but things are slowly stabilizing for your mods and we will be back in business bringing you a nice summary of what's going in JE fandom!

I'll be slowly backlogging all of January (a daunting task, I know), so please be patient.

Former Johnny's Jr. Kato Kan has now had a book published! Find out more here.
JE DVDs are dominating sales this year, with Arashi, SMAP, KAT-TUN, and HSJ all in the top 10.
Kimura Takuya will star in the live-action film version of Space Battleship Yamato.
Tegomasu was #1 on the Oricon album chart with 80,000 copies sold.
V6 will be releasing a new single, "Guilty", out September 2nd. 2 | 3
TOKIO will release a new single, "Taiyou to Sabaku no Bara/subekikoto". It will be released August 18th.
Katori Shingo will also release a new single, under the name of his character in his new drama, Kochikame.
Kusanagi's back to a full job after his drinking debacle. Also, new SMAP single -- Sotto Kyutto, out on August 26th. (When it rains it pours, eh?)

Tegomass's new single, Tanabata Matsuri, dropped! Find it in the appropriate section. Also, they have added extra dates to their tour.
Arashi's new single, Everything, ranked #1 for the week, selling 342,000 copies.
Shounentai's Higashiyama will be starring in the first Japanese production of Curtains
FiVe (well, most of them) will be doing a few lives in the summer.

Sorry this is SO horrendously late. I’ve been behind in like everything lately. ~_~;; But here’s my week of news (over a week late, oops).

Note: My semagic messed up while I was working on this (it changed my quotation marks into smart quotes and that fucks up html). I managed to find a temporary solution (autoreplace, yay!), but if it is still all ruined, do let me know. That also goes for any miscellaneous "
